Judge Inspector Inaba, one of the Judges from another City in Judge Dredd's world, in this case, Hondo-City. This is a 'sketch' that I had promised for John who runs the Cellar of Dredd Blog.
I've been having real problems with my drawing, for the last week and a half, so yesterday I took a break and sketched this up, I've spent a little while fiddling with it in photoshop and I've finally managed to produce something I'm happy with.
I think it could stand being cropped differently, but it was drawn at A4 so I thought I would leave it at those proportions.

It looks fantastic Kev and I can't wait to see it in the flesh. The linework is just so crisp (reminds me of Bolland and Quitley in it's own unique way).
Thanks once again for doing this.
You should be very happy with her Kev! I particularly like the more flat graphic treatment of her features, while the understated cool grey tone is just enough without being too much... and the limited palette is a treat. A great companion piece to the Dredd with blooded bat you did... I'm sure you planned it that way! I'm sorry that you're having a time of it with your drawing... don't try to force things, just remember what it is you like about your work and others, try and loosen up and enjoy yourself! Anytime you need a sounding board sir :)
Ooh Kev, this is sublime man.
Another fine work Sir! She looks poised to almost jump out of the page (so to speak) and means business. Love the stylization, Bertie B
Nice job Kev looks good to me, like the effect you have on the background as well.
A fine piece of work Kev, there's plenty of potential energy in her pose. You can feel she's ready to take on anything.
