Sexy Sci-Fi Siren

A quick sketch for today.

***EDIT*** It would appear that I owe some sort of credit to Dylan Teague here. I think I must have been indirectly or subconsciously influenced by a piece of his work... which can be seen here, and damn fine it is too.

A god attempt at staking some of Dylan Teague's territory, there.

Good, even. D'oh!

That is indeed a compliment, although I hope that I've not unintentionally ripped him off!

(NOT suggesting you've been influenced by Dylan's cover! Just thought it was funny...)

Yikes...
Something of that must have been rattling around in the old subconscious!
Sorry Dylan!

I really like the solidly defined shapes in this Kev like the bold, simple arc of the face (a bit more Bruce Tim Batman perhaps...?). For my money I think there's a Muchaesque treatment you might well do on this if the mood takes, especially with the circular motif background. Lovely stuff :)

What does it say when your "quick sketch" is, like, a thousand times cooler than my finished artwork? Really awesome, man.

This rocks. I didn't make the connection with Mr Teague's work, but I like it all the same.
