Spider-man 03 - Re-worked

Due to some comments and advice I received via the shiny new sub-section of the 2000AD forum, I have reworked two panels from the Spider-man pages...

Page one, panel one, a more insect-y (and dynamic) Spider-man pose, I think it will require a bit more work before inking though...
Page two, panel one, MJ's arm was a bit stunted previously, this was a simple fix in photoshop.

Sorry not to have commented before now Kev. A very nice pro piece of business with the strip. It's great that you have turned around so solid a piece of work as this so quickly. This latest revision to the first spidey pose is that bit better than previously...as you say more insect-y...and adds to the dream like distorted viewpoint feel also! My only constructive comwnt would be that I feel you've misseda trick with the colouring on the second page. For me I'd have liked more 'noirish' use of light and shade in the first panel, before the light was put on to heighten the drama of the page transition. I think the alarm clock cast light source could have given Pete's face a more gastly/ghostly hue... just my view though, feel free to dismiss sir :) Still a nice piece of work!!! T-shirts now is it... is this the start of something big...?

word verification : freth... a new brand of foaming breath freshener!
