Thanks to a number of board members who made suggestions, including the multi-talented Euan Mactavish, I think I have improved upon my original Hulk with a shadow and some extra, subtle, chest details...
I just saw some pics of the new hulk movie in this month's Empire magazine... Ed Norton and Liv Tyler could make it worth a look, maybe?

Yes, your improvements are subtle but they really add to your illustration. The shadows firmly place the figure on the ground, giving him more substance and weight. Good work!
I like the subtle tones you have chosen. So often the choice is to go BOLD!!! I like this look. I also like the folds. they are actually moving logically. Good show. -db
