Illustration Friday - "Primitive"

I was going to do something with a caveman for this topic, but I saw a few of those appearing on the link viewer...

I've been looking for an excuse to do a illustration of the HULK. So, to relate it to the topic... I think his anger comes from the primitive/primeval part of his brain, the animal instincts.

I'm sure it'll come as no surprise to those of you who know me and those of you who've been following my blog for a while that I loved the 70's series of the HULK starring Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno.

"Don't make me angry, you wouldn't like me when I'm angry..."

GENIUS!

I wanted my Hulk to be as ridiculously proportioned as I felt possible - that's where the fun of the character is for me!

Great choice! And an excellent Hulk, I'm a big fan of this character (and the TV series...but not the recent film!)

This is soooo good! It's funny that you've been looking for an excuse to do the Hulk. I always thought it was weird how when his clothes ripped off they only remained on one small part of his body...hmmm to keep it G- rated...I digress
Anyways, fantastic, I'm linking you to my page.

Great take on the Hulk. I didn't mind the first one as much as some people did...but it did look a bit too cheesed up visually. I think sometimes comic book movies don't take themselves seriously enough. I look forward to Iron Man this summer and the new Batman...I like the direction Batman has taken...Hated Spider-Man 3...too contrived...Transformers had one or two good scenes in it but wasn't as impressed as I thought I would be...never saw any of the fantastic four flics or the new superman...X-men 3...If I would've paid for my ticket I would have demanded a refund...and there you have my past movie reviews...

The shading on this is great!

Yeah, the TV show will always be my favorite version of the Hulk.
